Fence Services in Fernandina Beach & Amelia Island
Every Fernandina Beach project is quoted free and on-site. Amelia Island asks a lot of a fence: constant salt air off the Atlantic, the downtown Historic District’s design standards, and the upscale resort communities along the shore each need a different answer. Corrosion-resistant materials near the water, HOA-approved styles in the plantations and beach clubs, and care around Fernandina’s preservation rules where they apply.

Fence Installation
New fences for homes across Fernandina Beach, Amelia Island, and mainland Nassau County, built around your property's layout, your HOA's approved styles, and local permit rules. Every post goes in on the iDrive Power System, driven 48+ inches into undisturbed soil and 10x stronger than traditional concrete footings. No yard disruption, no deposit required.

Fence Replacement
When an old fence is past saving, we tear it out, haul it away, and build the new one in its place. Replacement is also a good time to upgrade. Many island homeowners trade weathered wood for vinyl or aluminum that holds up better near the water. We match the new fence to your HOA's current standards and handle the permit.

Fence Repair
Not every problem means a new fence. We fix leaning sections, broken pickets and panels, damaged posts, and gates that sag or won't latch, including damage after coastal storms. Every repair starts with an on-site look and a written quote, and we'll tell you plainly when a targeted fix is the right call and when replacement makes more sense.
Fence Types and Materials
Every property has different needs. We offer five materials to match your budget, style, and how much maintenance.
The low-maintenance pick. No painting or staining, and it shrugs off coastal humidity.
A wrought-iron look that won’t rust. Good for pool enclosures and yards near the water.
Cost-effective security for yards, pets, and commercial perimeters. Galvanized against salt-air corrosion.
Full-privacy backyards. Board-on-board and shadowbox styles, built for Jacksonville heat and humidity.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you have a Fernandina Beach or Amelia Island office?
Yes. Our Fernandina Beach office is at 5422 1st Coast Hwy #116, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034, covering all of Amelia Island and Nassau County.
Do you handle Nassau County permits?
In most residential cases there’s no local permit to pull. As of July 2026, Florida law (HB 803) prohibits local permit requirements for single-family residential fence jobs contracted under $7,500, which covers most residential installs, and neither the county nor an HOA can require a permit below that threshold. Above $7,500, and for commercial work, requirements vary across Nassau County and the City of Fernandina Beach. We verify what applies to your specific address and handle permit pulling whenever one is required. Pool-barrier code compliance is included either way. (HOA and Historic District review is separate from a permit and can still apply.)
Best fence material for Amelia Island's salt air?
Coastal-grade aluminum or vinyl is the right call for most Amelia Island and oceanfront properties. Salt air accelerates corrosion on untreated metal faster than most homeowners expect. Aluminum does not rust and holds its finish without painting or treatment. Vinyl resists moisture and humidity at the panel level. Both are set on iDrive posts driven at least 48 inches into undisturbed soil, which matters on sandy barrier-island lots where traditional concrete footings shift over time.
What about the Fernandina Historic District?
Fence installations in or near the downtown Historic District can trigger design or preservation review, which adds requirements around materials, colors, height, and placement. We plan around those rules and handle the submittal process when required. If your property is in a preservation zone, tell us at the estimate and we’ll build the approval timeline into the schedule.
Do you handle HOA approvals for Amelia Island communities?
Yes. Amelia Island Plantation, Summer Beach, and the island’s resort and gated communities typically require architectural-review approval before installation, including material, color, and style. We prepare and submit the full package on your behalf. Aluminum and vinyl styles tend to move through review fastest in these communities, and we’ll advise on the most-approved options at the estimate.
How much does a fence cost, and how soon can you start?
Cost depends on material, linear footage, height, gate count, terrain, and any permit or HOA requirements. Coastal properties sometimes need upgraded corrosion-resistant hardware that affects total cost. Lead times vary by season and current project load, with hurricane season and spring the busiest. The best way to get an accurate number and a specific start window is a free on-site estimate. No deposit required.
