Meet the Founder

Fortera Fencing was founded by Cameron Shouppe, a Northeast Florida native with over 20 years of experience in the construction industry.

In 2015, he founded a roofing company that quickly grew into one of the fastest-growing companies in Northeast Florida. Under his leadership, the company expanded across multiple states, employed hundreds of team members, and completed thousands of projects each year before exiting in 2021.

During that time, the company was recognized by the Jacksonville Business Journal as one of the Best Places to Work, and Cameron was honored with the 40 Under 40 award—both reflecting a strong commitment to building a great team and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Now, Cameron has launched Fortera Fencing to bring that same level of professionalism, systems, and service to the fencing industry—right here in the community he calls home.

His goal is simple: to build a company that customers trust, enjoy working with, and confidently recommend to friends and family.

Cameron Shouppe

Northeast Florida native with a construction management degree from the University of North Florida. Cameron spent 20+ years building his career in construction before founding Fortera Fencing in 2015.

His first venture—a roofing company—became one of the fastest-growing in the Jacksonville area, expanding across multiple states with hundreds of team members completing thousands of projects annually. That success earned him a 40 Under 40 award.

Cameron founded Fortera because he saw what customers truly need: contractors who show up when they say they will, communicate clearly, and deliver work they’re proud of. His goal is simple: build a company customers trust, enjoy working with, and confidently recommend to friends and family.

Outside of work, Cameron enjoys boating, fishing, concerts, and spending time with his wife, daughter, and their family dog.

Sean Shapiro

Sean brings over two decades of hands-on experience building and scaling construction businesses across the Southeast. As a co-founder of one of Northeast Florida’s fastest-growing roofing companies, he helped lead the organization from startup to a multi-state operation completing thousands of projects annually before a successful private equity exit, giving him a rare combination of operator instincts and business-building expertise that few in the trades can match.

At Fortera, Sean oversees operations and company growth, ensuring the systems, people, and processes are in place to deliver a consistently exceptional experience on every project. He’s driven by the belief that the trades deserve better: better leadership, better accountability, and better outcomes for customers.

Outside of work, Sean is a devoted husband and father who loves traveling with his wife Natalie and their kids Teddy and Charlotte. A die-hard Florida Gators and Jacksonville Jaguars fan, he’s also an avid golfer who takes any excuse to get on the course. He lives in Jacksonville Beach with his family and their dog, Sadie.

Juliana Pantoja

Highly organized operations professional with a demonstrated history as a leading operations director in the roofing industry across Northeast Florida. Known for her strong leadership, attention to detail, and process-driven mindset, Juliana excels at building efficient systems that keep projects moving smoothly from start to finish.

Her ability to balance operational strategy with hands-on team support has driven successful project execution and strong customer relationships throughout her career. Dependable and solutions-oriented, she takes pride in helping organizations grow through structure, efficiency, and exceptional service.

Outside of work, Juliana enjoys traveling, visiting national parks, and attending concerts. She loves exploring new places and creating memorable experiences with family and friends.

Adrienne Menzies

Six Sigma Certified marketing campaign and brand specialist who builds the strategies behind every customer touchpoint at Fortera Fencing. Her work in brand positioning, guiding our customer narrative, and shaping every interaction helps ensure you’re not just getting a fence: you’re getting a superior experience from the first conversation to the final walkthrough. 

Her work is guided by her core principles: collaboration, kindness, creativity, and meaningful impact. That empathy shapes how she helps us serve customers with integrity and care. 

Outside the office, Adrienne is a certified holistic health and wellness coach passionate about balanced living and supporting people through real challenges. She’s an avid boater, reader, and painter. But she mostly enjoys time on the water with her fiancé, Chris, and dog, Maggie.

Drew Norman

Driven sales professional in the construction industry with a passion for bringing integrity, honesty, and strong customer relationships back to the business. Drew’s motivation comes from witnessing the lack of integrity that too often exists in construction—and his determination to make a difference through leadership, service, and results.

With a strong work ethic and people-first mindset, Drew is committed to helping customers and teams succeed. He brings accountability and genuine care to every interaction.

Outside of work, Drew is an avid outdoorsman, devoted father of two, and has been married for over 20 years.

Austin Gibson

Born and raised in Florida, Austin embodies the Sunshine State work ethic: built on hard work, grit, and a passion for getting the job done right. A dedicated husband and father, the same commitment he brings to family carries into his work every day.

With experience spanning marine, commercial, residential, and oilfield construction, Austin brings wide-ranging hands-on knowledge and natural leadership to every project. Known as a relentless workaholic with a constant drive to improve, he’s always searching for better ways to grow personally, strengthen his team, and refine the process. His teams trust him through accountability, determination, and leading by example.

Austin believes success comes from hard work, continuous improvement, and never settling for average.

Outside of work, Austin enjoys gardening, fishing, surfing, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
