Fence Services in Jacksonville
Fortera installs, repairs, and replaces fences across Jacksonville and Duval County, every one built on our 100 mph iDrive Power System and backed in writing.

Fence Installation
New fence for your Jacksonville home, yard, or business. We'll help you pick the right material and style for your property and Duval County code, then install it using the iDrive Power System with posts driven 48+ inches into undisturbed soil, 10x stronger than traditional concrete footings. There's no yard disruption, no concrete mess, and no waiting on cure time. Every install carries a 100 mph wind rating built for hurricane season and the shifting sandy soils of coastal Northeast Florida.

Fence Replacement
When a fence is failing, aging out, or a storm takes it down, we handle the full job. We haul the old fence, set iDrive posts driven 48+ inches into undisturbed soil, and build to current Duval County code (if applicable). That means no shifting, no heaving, and no repeating this process in five years. One written quote, no deposit required.

Fence Repair
Storm damage, leaning posts, broken panels, rotted boards, rusted hardware. We repair every fence type across Jacksonville and Duval County. Our crew assesses the full system and gives you a written quote before any work begins. We'll give you expert guidance when a fence is past repair and replacement is the better spend.
Fence Types and Materials
Every property has different needs. We offer five materials to match your budget, style, and how much maintenance.
The low-maintenance pick. No painting or staining, and it shrugs off coastal humidity.
A wrought-iron look that won’t rust. Good for pool enclosures and yards near the water.
Cost-effective security for yards, pets, and commercial perimeters. Galvanized against salt-air corrosion.
Full-privacy backyards. Board-on-board and shadowbox styles, built for Jacksonville heat and humidity.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you pull Duval County permits?
Yes. Duval County requires permits for fence installations or replacements costing over $7500, and requirements vary depending on your municipality within the county. Jacksonville proper, Jacksonville Beach, Atlantic Beach, and Neptune Beach each have their own rules around height limits, setback distances from property lines, and HOA overlay requirements. We verify your specific address before we build and handle all permit pulling as part of the job. Pool-barrier code compliance is included. |
What fence holds up best near the Beaches?
Coastal-grade aluminum or vinyl with corrosion-resistant hardware is the strongest choice for properties near Jacksonville Beach, Atlantic Beach, and Neptune Beach. Salt air accelerates corrosion on untreated metal faster than most homeowners expect. Aluminum does not rust and holds its finish without painting or treatment. Vinyl resists moisture and humidity at the panel level. Both go in on iDrive posts set for 100 mph winds, which matters on coastal lots with sandy soil that shifts under traditional concrete footings. |
Do you handle HOA approvals?
Yes. We prepare and submit the full architectural-review package on your behalf. Most Jacksonville-area HOAs require approval before installation, including material selection, fence height, color, and style. The approval process adds time to the project timeline, so we factor it into the schedule from the start. Aluminum and vinyl styles tend to move through review fastest in master-planned communities. We’ll advise on the most-approved options for your specific HOA at the estimate. |
How soon can you start?
Lead times vary by season and current project load. We’ll give you a specific start window at the estimate. Hurricane season and spring are our busiest periods across Jacksonville. |
What areas in Duval County do you cover?
We cover all of Duval County from our Beach Boulevard office. That includes Jacksonville proper across all neighborhoods: Mandarin, San Marco, Arlington, Southside, and the Beaches corridor. We also work in the Duval/St. Johns corridor communities of Nocatee and Bartram. For properties further out, call us and we’ll confirm coverage. |
Do you install pool-compliant fencing?
Yes. Florida pool barrier code applies across Duval County and we install those standards on every pool enclosure job. Requirements include a minimum 48-inch fence height, self-closing and self-latching gates, and a maximum 4-inch gap between pickets. We verify compliance with your local inspector before calling the job complete. |
